this video is about the poem "I am," by John Clare. The video lets you invision a story that goes with the poem. It makes it more credible and the emotions are better expressed. I think you are able to appreciate it more with the video because it more relateable to see it then to just read it alone.

A Road to Discovery
I have taken my first steps into this place and thing we call life. Before coming to Davis I rarely stepped out of my comfort zone and I longed for a sense of direction. I am beginning to see my journey unfold. I do not know if you may find it odd that I am writing about what others may find simple or trivial. However, to me it is the most terrifying and exhilarating experience all at once.
I left my home to pursue my education, something that not many in my family have done. I find it odd how seven hours away can seem like a planets distance. Being this far from home is mixture of emotions. My mind is constantly racing with questions. Why am I here? Am I good enough? Is it possible that I am so close yet so far from my goal? It is the first time that I am in charge of my outcome. I am the one who has to deal with the consequences of my actions. I am an adult. Therefore, I am going to do anything in my will to succeed. I hold the key either to my success or my demise.
